Viewfinder - Hubs
I had the opportunity to work on three of Viewfinder's Hub worlds. This included the Mechanic, the Physicist, and the Void Hub.For each world I was given a level design blockout and reference for architectural ideas and from there I had artistic freedom to make a cohesive environment. The Mechanic and Physicist hubs heavily referenced distinct cultural architecture that relates to the story of the characters that would have created and lived in these spaces.Every screenshot I have has content from multiple people. Viewfinder - Real World
This is the "Real World' level in Viewfinder that I worked on. This was a really interesting level since it was so visually distinct from the rest of the environments. I also worked on several of the hero props for this level including the Simulation Pods, the Servers and Control Box and retextured many existing assets to fit in this grungier style.For this world I was given a level design blockout and references and from there I had artistic freedom to make a cohesive environment. I worked on this levels from architecture to polish passes. These are some of the later levels for Viewfinder I had the opportunity to work on. These were particularly fun and challenging since the environment is broken apart and chaotic and it was quite a process to learn the right balance of order and chaos.For each world I was given a level design blockout and reference for architectural ideas and from there I had artistic freedom to make a cohesive environment.Every screenshot I have has content from multiple people. This is my contribution to a few void levels for Viewfinder. These were some of the first levels I got to work on and it was quite a big learning curve.
